Notification for Public Consultation required under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act).
A Commonwealth referral under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conversation (EPBC) Act 1999 was formally lodged for the Lawson North master plan with the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DECCEW).
Please visit https://epbcpublicportal.awe.gov.au/open-for-comments/ to view the referral. The referral is available for a public comment for 10 business days, concluding Wednesday 7 September 2022. The outcome of the decision will be made publicly available on the same website.
Under paragraph 341S(6)(b) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC), Defence Housing Australia (DHA) welcomes comments on the EPBC referral from members of the public, Indigenous People with rights and interests to the place, key stakeholders, and community groups.
